The FORTH study is to investigate the Frequency of Oral Rapid Testing for HIV in both clinic and home settings. The mouth swab test for HIV can be done privately by you and provides a result in 20 minutes. A 24-hour help line is also available. If randomised to the home testing arm, you will get free home HIV kits for two years. Those in the clinic arm will get home kits for one year.

The study is particularly looking for gay men who haven’t had a HIV test in the past 12 months or who have never tested.
