Services provided

Sexual Health:
Sexual Health is a free and strictly confidential service that is committed to providing supportive, non-judgemental, quality clinical and counselling services.

 Screening, testing and treatment
 for sexually transmissible infections
 Screening, diagnosis, treatment for blood born viral
 infections such as HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C
 HIV Rapid Testing
 Pregnancy testing
 Contraception  Emergency contraception
 Hepatitis B vaccination for at risk clients  Safer sexual practices
 Sexual dysfunction, counselling and treatment  Gender issues, counselling and support
 Positive diagnosis counselling and support  Indigenous sexual health service
 Training, education and health promotion programs  Specialist review and referral
 Pap smears   Provision of nPEP (non-occupational post exposure prophylaxis)
 Breast and testicular examination  Condoms and lube

Sexual Assault:
Sexual assault services are available to men and women 15 years and over who have been raped, sexually assaulted or who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

Charges/costs
All services are free and confidential.

Geographical coverage
Mackay City, south to St Lawrence, west to Moranbah, Clermont, Tieri, Glenden, Dysart and Middlemount, and north to the Whitsundays, Bowen and Collinsville.
