Queensland health places very high importance on maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting privacy. Patient trust is critical to providing high quality healthcare. Students who will have access to identifying information need to be familiar with the relevant requirements that are outlined in the links below.
Confidentiality

Ensure that the information referring to confidentiality is understood and that the confidentiality clause on the Student Orientation Checklist is signed. Failure to comply with the confidentiality obligations may result in termination of your placement and/or further legal action being taken against you by Queensland Health and/or the university.
Privacy
