Australian Students |International Students
Students attending tertiary education institutions (ie universities) can apply for a relevant clinical placement with a Queensland Health facility. For a student to undertake a clinical placement a Student Placement Deed must be in place between the student’s tertiary education provider and Queensland Health. This is a legal agreement covering a range of matters including indemnity, intellectual property, privacy and consent.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:
1. Determine if the student’s university has a current Student Placement Deed in place.
Universities with a current Student Plancement Deed2. If the Australian university does not have a Student Placement Deed in place, the university must read, complete and sign the Deed, forwarding two signed copies to Queensland Health.
Please Note: Queensland Health is no longer entering into Student Placement Deeds with international education providers.
3. Once a Student Placement Deed has been accepted by Queensland Health the university and student must;
