Outpatient Clinics - QEII

Where is the Outpatients Department?
Outpatients is accessible on the Ground Floor of the hospital.

Hours of Service
The Outpatients Department (OPD) is open from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Processing of Referrals
Hospital or GP referrals are required for all patients who are to see a consultant. Most referrals are categorised by consultants and appointments are sent to patients accordingly.

Urgent Referrals
Should a patient need to be seen urgently, please speak to the appropriate consultant regarding "add on" to a particular OPD clinic, then contact the Coordinator or OPD Manager to book an appointment

Allocation of Appointments

  • Appointments are sent to patients according to the consultant's categorisation
  • Overbookings cannot be made without the consultant's approval
  • We ask you not to send patients to the department without prior notification. If unsure, please ring the OPD Coordinator or Manager
