The Oral Health Program of the Logan-Beaudesert Health Service District was established in 1993 when two previous services (School Dental Service and Hospital Based Services) were integrated. The service provides dental care through a network of community dental clinics.
General and emergency dental services for adults are coordinated from clinics based at Beenleigh, Logan Central, Beaudesert and Logan Hospital.
School based services are provided by fixed and mobile facilities with Kingston Dental Clinic as the central communication point for this service.
Additional services such as orthodontics are provided for eligible patients at Kingston.
Oral surgery and general anaesthetic services are provided at Logan and Beaudesert Hospitals.
