Community Based Services
The Brisbane South Oral Health Service (BSOHS) provides primary oral health to socio-economically disadvantaged adults and their dependants. There are four community dental clinics in the District: South Brisbane Dental Hospital (11 surgeries), QEII Dental Clinic (7 surgeries), Inala Dental Clinic (4 surgeries + 3 surgeries at Richlands East Clinic) and Yeronga Dental Clinic (3 surgeries).
Secondary oral health care such as oral surgery and fixed prosthodontics (crown and bridge) are available (by referral) at the South Brisbane Dental Hospital. Other special programs provided at SBDH include:
Specialist orthodontic services are available at the Yeronga Dental Clinic
through the Regional Orthodontic Service.
A weekly consultation service by the Statewide Oral Pathologist is also
provided at that clinic.

The Brisbane South Oral Health Service offers a number of services at external locations as follows:
School Based Services
The Brisbane South Oral Health Service (BSOHS) provides services to students enrolled at more than 100 schools throughout the District. Services are provided on site by way of 13 fixed school dental clinics (open at various times of the year) and 9 mobile school dental clinics (used all year round). The Oral Health Education Unit (OHEU) provides services to students of 30 designated schools within the District. Children are transported by bus to either the Yeronga or Holland Park centres for treatment.
Rural & Remote Oral Health Program
Under the coordination of the Director/Coordinator Rural & Remote Oral Health Services, teams of oral health staff travel to rural and remote locations to provide a range of primary care services.
