Queensland Health Strategic Plan (2007 - 2012)
This plan outlines Queensland Health's broad strategy for the next five years, identifying the mission and strategic directions, what they mean and why they are important.
Statewide Health Services Plan Queensland (2007 - 2012)
This plan is for all health service providers across Queensland, not just Queensland Health. A key focus is to improve linkages between all health service providers and other key agencies and government departments as well as the broader community. The explanatory notes for the Queensland Statewide Health Services Plan (2007 -2012) provide further detail on falls prevention (see page 32).
Queensland Strategy for Chronic Disease (2005 - 2015)
This strategy identifies systematic and sustainable approaches to preventing and managing chronic disease across Queensland. A summary document is also available.
A Trauma Plan for Queensland (2006)
This documents proposes strategies to strengthen the overall management of trauma in Queensland, with a focus on injury prevention, clinical services, education, data and quality, research and rehabilitation.
Eat Well Queensland (2002 - 2012): Smart Eating for a Healthier State
This is the first public health food and nutrition strategy developed for all Queenslanders.

This strategy outlines how to improve safety and reduce the incidence and harm of injury to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The National Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion Plan (2004 - 2014)
This document focuses on safety promotion and injury prevention including unintentional injury, self-harm and harm to others.
National Falls Prevention Plan for Older People: 2004 Onwards
This plan provides a strategic framework for collaborative action across jurisdictions, local government and organisations to prevent falls and minimise fall related injuries in older people throughout Australia.
