Clozapine Program

Overview of Service

The service currently has a Clinical Nurse at each of the North Ward and Kirwan Health Campuses in the position of Clozapine Coordinator. Regular monitoring of both the physical and mental health of patients on this medication is a requirement carried out by the Clozapine Coordinators. The Clozapine Coordinators are a valued resource for other mental health staff and GP’s.

Referral Procedure

Referrals to this program are made through the Adult Mental Health Service.
