Child Safety Therapeutic Support Team

Overview

The Child Safety Therapeutic Support Team (CSTST) is a Queensland Health component of the North Queensland Child Safety Interagency Therapeutic and Behaviour Support Service.  CSTST is a specialised mental health service for children and young people in the care of the Department of Child Safety.  CSTST offers assessment and therapeutic services for children and young people who are experiencing psychiatric disorders or behavioural, emotional, and developmental problems in all areas of their daily lives.  This service is delivered through a coordinated partnership between the Department of Child Safety, Queensland Health, Disability Services Queensland, the Department of Education and the Arts, and other key government, non-government and private sector providers.

Referral procedure

Referrals can only be made by the Department of Child Safety.
