Full Opthalmology service is available catering for both Private and Public patients. The Stomal therapist and Continence advisor provide both inpatient and outpatient services based in Surgical clinics.
All referrals are firstly triaged by the Clinical Nurse who will query all urgent referrals with the attending Registrar. All other referrals are then triaged by the appropriate doctor and categorised.
Cat 1 =appointments made within 2 weeks

Queensland Health must ensure that access to treatment is based on the patient's clinical need. The time you wait will be dtermined by the urgency of your clinical conditions identified in the referral letter from your GP.
