The Townsville Hospital Urology Service provides a comprehensive general, urological service covering all urological malignancies, benign prostatic hypertrophy, urolithiasis with extracorpopreal treatment being offered in-house with a state of the art Lithotripsys ystem.
Comprehensive urinary incontinence services provided with Urodynamics and a continence sister helping to co-ordinate this service. Further advice is given on infertility and erectile dysfunction problems. Service is currently provided by visiting Urologists from Townsville and Mackay and services the districts from Mackay to Thursday Island and out to Mount Isa.
