Surgical Ward 2 is a 29-bed ward specialising in vascular, urology, colorectal, gynaecology -oncology, plastics and all aspects of general surgery. The unit has 16 specialty consultants (eight of which are visiting medical officers) who have weekly allocated theatre times. Surgical Ward 2 cares for a variety of patients, making it both a challenging and rewarding unit to work in.
