Overview

The Women’s and Children’s Clinic provides the following services to the women and children in Townsville and regional areas with the provision of the following clinics: antenatal, postnatal, emergency review, colposcopy, gynaecology, well women’s, menopause, private practice, uro-gynae, gynaeoncology, medical and surgical paediatric, cleft palate clinic, cystic fibrosis, paediatric cardiology clinic, endocrinology, some are visiting paediatric clinics. In addition Womens and Childrens Reception has a Antenatal Day Assessment Clinic for high risk women to reduce hospital stays.

 

Referral Procedure

To access these services a referral from a General Practitioner or specialist is required. Self-referral is acceptable for first visit at the antenatal clinic.
Access to the Women's and Children's Clinic would be through the primary reception area.

Women's & Children’s reception and children’s play area are located on the ground floor easily located adjacent to the major reception area.
