The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation

The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation is the not-for-profit organisation which supports care and research at The Prince Charles Hospital.

The Foundation runs The Breeze Café at The Prince Charles Hospital, providing delicious meals, tasty coffee and healthy snacks.  The Café also has a gift shop and internet terminals for public use. Proceeds from the Café off-set our administrative costs.

Supporting Medical Research

Donations to the Foundation support our medical research grants program. Currently we are supporting a variety of research projects in the fields of cardiac, thoracic, orthopaedic, critical care, mental health and general medicine.

More than $8 million of research funding has already been awarded to help change the lives of people with heart and lung conditions, osteoarthritis, mental illness, lung cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes and other common debilitating and life threatening illnesses.
