The Fraser Coast Health Service is serviced by Maryborough and Hervey Bay Hospitals in a collaborative and modern approach to health care.
Fraser Coast Community and Allied Health Service
The Community and Allied Health Services strive to enhance and maintain the health and well being of the community. Some services are based at the Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals, whilst others are based in the wider community.
These services include, but are not limited to, Community Liaison Nurses, Transition Care Programs, Early Inventions Teams and Social Workers.
Yaralla Place Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF)
Yaralla Place is a state government aged care facility, which consists of three individual houses providing high care services to the older person. High care, dementia, transition and respite services are all available.

Gayndah Community, Allied and Mental Health Service
Community, Allied and Mental Health services are free and confidential services that aim to improve the health - physically, socially and psychologically - of the community.
The Service seeks to prevent problems before they develop through advice, education and by providing easy access to services when health concerns arise.
Health workers provide a range of services for all people, including children, adolescents, adults, senior citizens and the people who care for them.

The Wide Bay Health Service District has a range of services available for patients requiring Mental Health treatment. Through high dependency, in-patient and community based services, we aim to provide appropriate and effective treatment to all patients.
Wide Bay Integrated Mental Health Service also aims to raise community awareness and education about mental health issues.

The Wide Bay Oral Health Services provides dental care through hospital-based, school and community dental clinics.
Oral health clinics are available in Hervey Bay, Maryborough, Bundaberg, Gayndah, Mundubbera, Monto and Eidsvold.
The Starting Early program is also conducted and was implemented in response to the extensive decay levels on children under the age of four years.
