Caboolture is a thriving commuter township situated on the northern edge of Greater Brisbane. Gateway to the Sunshine Coast region, Caboolture Shire is diverse in scenic attractions from beautiful beaches, scenic hinterland drives, rainforest, and Bribie Island, the state’s only bridge-linked island. Caboolture shire is rich with fertile, volcanic soil and is widely known as the fruit bowl of the south east. Many agricultural crops are produced here, including bananas, pineapples, paw paws, avocados and strawberries. Other industries include dairy, timber and cattle.
