Herston is an inner city suburb only two kilometres from Brisbane’s central business district. Popular with health professionals, the demand for housing is increasing in the area due to the trend towards inner city living. Herston has a variety of housing from workers cottages and Queenslanders to modern unit blocks and townhouses. Major supermarket and retail shopping facilities are available in the surrounding suburbs, along with the City centre.
