Dalby is a large country town located on the Warrego Highway in the northern Darling Downs region of Queensland. Located in a fertile volcanic soil belt, Dalby is a thriving community surrounded by wheat, cotton, sunflowers, sorgum, millet and barley. Cattle, sheep, pigs and angora goat farms also flourish in this sub-tropical region. Primarily a service town, Dalby has excellent facilities and amenities, particularly in education. It is an ideal family community with a diverse range of clubs and sporting opportunities.
