How to set Outlook options for Secure Email
To set Outlook options for Secure Email
From the Microsoft Outlook, Tools menu, select Options.
From the Options window, select the Security tab.
Select the
Secure e-mail
options shown.
Click on the Settings button.
The Security Settings Name is your email address. (Do not change this field).
Select the Default security Setting options shown.
Select the Hash Algorithm and Encryption Algorithm settings shown.
From the Certificates and Algorithms section, select the Signing Certificate, Choose button.
Select the HIC supplied Location Certificate and click on OK.
The Change Security Settings window re-displays.
From the Certificates and Algorithms section, select the Encryption Certificate, Choose button.
Select the HIC supplied Location Certificate and click on OK.
In the Change Security Settings window, the Signing Certificate and Encryption Certificate fields display your Location Certificate names.
Select the Spelling tab.
The options shown selected are recommended.
Select the required options and click on the OK button.
To close the Options window, click on the OK button again.
