Access S8 Online for the First Time

Step 4. To access S8 Online for the first time

  1. Open your browser and access the S8 Online web site. (https://s8online.health.qld.gov.au)
    For information on ways to access S8 Online, click here.

  2. A Security Information window displays. Click on the Yes button.

  3. The Queensland Health, Schedule 8 Online page displays.

  4. Click on the S8 File Upload link.
    If you haven't already installed the Java plugin (version 1.4.0_01), the Downloading window displays as the required Java files are loaded. Note: This step may take some time).

  5. The Java Security Warning window opens.

  6. Click on Grant always.

  7. A warning window displays, indicating that the copying of files may take several minutes.

  8. Click on the OK button.
    (Note: 2 minutes plus is also likely for this step, a Loading Files messages displays in the status bar.)

  9. When the file copy phase is completed, an information message requesting that you restart your browser displays.

  10. Click on the OK button.

  11. Close ALL web browser sessions.

You are now ready to Import your Medicare Australia Keys and Certificates.
