  • Cairns Hospital has an extensive weekend and after hours service – including acute priority (overtime and emergency on call rostering) and services on a seven day roster model - MAU, Orthopaedics and ED.

Clinical Leadership is provided though Advanced ( HP5)  Clinical positions in Acute Wards, Rehabilitation, Amputee management,  Outpatients – including Hands, Emergency Department, Neurosurgical and Orthopaedic Physiotherpy Screening  and Multidisciplinary services, Physiotherapy Post operative review service,  and Paediatrics and Assistant Director position  (approximately 10 positions)   These positions are well supported with senior physiotherapy positions across all clinical areas ( approximately 18 positions). HP3 Positions ( approximately 22 positions)  are available across all clinical service areas and include opportunities to either rotate or provide brief periods of relief at across the health service and facilities.  The department is well supported with 5 allied health assistant positions.Physiotherapy Department CBH
