Vaccinations as a condition of employment
Certain roles in Queensland Health may require healthcare workers to be vaccinated against or have natural immunity to specified vaccine preventable diseases. Vaccination requirements will be outlined in role descriptions and are a condition of employment with Queensland Health, to further enhance the health and safety of our employees, patients and volunteers.

Recording vaccinations (AIR and SPA)
Queensland Health public health facilities are required to use the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) and the Staff Protect Application (SPA) to record vaccinations.
