CPCRE Education Program

Queensland has many high quality education programs in palliative care, being delivered in many forms. These reach health professionals of all backgrounds, as well as interested people and the public in general. In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and consequent restrictions, CPCRE is currently (as of 4 August 2020) delivering all its education via the internet or videoconference.

CPCRE collaborates with existing education providers across Queensland to enhance the quality and access of palliative care education. Where gaps in the provision of palliative care education are identified, CPCRE endeavours to respond through development of collaborative education projects or ongoing support of individual innovative ventures.

Information technology and evidence-based practice are major ingredients to ensuring palliative care education is far reaching and of high quality both in content and delivery.

For further information relating to the Centre´s involvement in these areas, see the Education section, available as a link in the navigation bar to the left. For a listing of palliative care education offerings from CPCRE and other organisations, see the online Education Calendar and CPCRE/PEPA Education.
