Volunteer with Rockhampton Hospital

Your time is one of the most precious gifts you can give.
We are calling for everyday people who would like to join our volunteering program. Our volunteers offer a helping hand and provide support to our patients, carers, visitors and staff in our hospitals, community health services and mental health services. Volunteers provide an invaluable service and a positive experience for patients, their families, and visitors.
There is no cost involved to you, volunteers receive free parking, a uniform, and training. We will supply everything you need to become part of our CQ Health volunteering team.
We are looking for people who:
- Can meet and greet
- Can provide information or give directions
- Like to have a chat
- Can make a cuppa
- Are friendly, caring, and helpful
- Give patients, visitors, and staff a helping hand
If you have interests or talents in:
- Puzzles or playing cards
- Arts and crafts
- Gardening
- Dancing, signing, or playing an instrument
- Knitting and crocheting
Volunteering is also a great way to meet new people, try new things and help your community.
