Calling CQ Youth join our Consumer Network!
We are inviting CQ youth 16 to 25 years to join our youth consumer group.
This group gives young people a voice in shaping and influencing the health and hospital services and wellbeing of youth, building healthier communities in Central Queensland.
Connect with other likeminded young people from different backgrounds and lifestyles, from all over Central Queensland. Join (either online or in person) to talk about current issues facing health and wellbeing for young people.
Membership is open to people who access or may need access to hospital or healthcare services within Central Queensland including patients, carers, families, clients, and community members aged 16 to 25 years.
This group may also interest those who are looking to study in any field of health care.
Your participation will help us with these key aims:
- Improve health outcomes and quality of care.
- Improve people’s experience and satisfaction.
- Improve how we deliver services.
- Support or develop ways to promote community participation, cultural and diversity awareness.
- Inform us on priority areas or issues or matters of community interest or concern.
- Provide feedback on health service operation, planning and policy development.
- Provide feedback on service planning and decision-making.
