Consumers on recruitment and selection panels

Would you like to be involved in the selection and interview process for hiring CQ Health staff?

You will not be required to have any specialist skills or health knowledge – let us focus on this.

We need your opinion on whether you feel applicants have the necessary communication skills to support you or other consumers while accessing our services.

CQ Health knows that by having support from consumers in this process, we are more likely to get the “right staff for the job”.

Do I have the skills?

  • Have you been a consumer in any service provided by CQ Health?
  • Would you be able to represent yourself as a consumer?
  • Would you be able to work in a team and have the confidence to speak in a group to get your views across?
  • Would you be available to volunteer several hours of your time?
  • Would you be happy to receive support throughout your involvement?
