Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme (PTSS)
If you live in rural and remote areas, and have to travel more than 50km from your local public hospital to access specialist medical services, you may be eligible for the Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme (PTSS) to help with travel costs.

Airport parking
Rockhampton airport offers waived airport car parking fees for patients travelling under the PTSS.
