Last updated: 14 October 2019
The X-ray Operator In-service series was developed to provide Queensland Health X-ray Operators (XOs) with access to professional development opportunities via videoconferencing technology. The free in-services will feature a guest speaker and cover a range of topics relevant to XO skill development, with time reserved for questions and discussion.
This workshop is open to X-ray Operators, Radiographer Advisors and Radiographers employed by Queensland Health.
You must be employed by Queensland Health in order to attend.
The videoconferences will be coordinated by the Cunningham Centre and presented by a guest speaker.
Each in-service will be 45 - 60 minutes long, and is delivered via videoconference or as a webinar. Participants are requested to dial in at least 5 minutes prior to the start time, and to ensure their microphone is on mute when they dial in. Most in-services are recorded and can be viewed at a later stage by accessing the link posted on the closed X-ray Operator Yammer Group page. Please contact the X-ray Operator Support team directly if you are currently licensed and would like to join the Yammer group.
The videoconference series is offered free of charge to Queensland Health employees.
You will require access to Queensland Health videoconference equipment. Dial in details will be provided prior to the session.
Participation in this professional development activity may contribute to continuing professional development (CPD) requirements for the purposes of registration and/or professional association membership. Please refer to the specific CPD requirements of your registration board and/or professional association to confirm.
This videoconference series is offered via direct enrolment and you are considered to be enrolled when you have completed the full enrolment process:
You are only required to complete one registration form. You will receive via email the details of the scheduled in-services (date, time, topic and dial in details) until you advise you wish to withdraw your registration.
In-services are recorded for those unable to attend. Links to the recordings are posted on the closed X-ray Operator Yammer group. Please contact the X-ray Operator Support team directly if you are currently licensed and would like to join the Yammer group: X-ray-Operator-Support@health.qld.gov.au
