BreastScreen mobile service out and about

6 April 2021

BreastScreen Queensland’s mobile screening vans are out and about and will be visiting multiple locations across the Darling Downs and the Southwest in the coming months.

“We’ve had a couple of slight changes to scheduling but we want to assure all our returning and new clients in the locations listed below that we’ll be visiting your town soon,” said Alexandra Robbins-Hill, Health Promotion Officer BreastScreen Queensland Toowoomba Service.

“Whether you’re coming back for your two-yearly screen or you’re due to have your first screen with us, now’s the time to call 13 20 50 to make an appointment.

“It’s free, you don’t need a doctor’s referral, and appointments generally takes less than 30 minutes.

“We are adhering to all guidelines in relation to social distancing and infection control so anyone coming for an appointment can be confident in the processes we have in place in response to COVID-19.”

Please contact Alexandra Robbins-Hill on Alexandra.Robbins-Hill@health.qld.gov.au or 4616 6107 if you’d like to know more about the upcoming locations of the vans.

For more information or to schedule an appointment phone 13 20 50 or visit www.breastscreen.qld.gov.au
