Darling Downs Health is asking women living in the Tara, Chinchilla, Taroom, and Miles regions who have given birth in the last five years, or are expecting, to take part in a new community consultation.
We’re seeking to understand the choices and experiences of all women.
“Listening to women and hearing their stories is important,” Darling Downs Health clinical redesign and innovation manager Wendy Pannach said.
“It helps us to provide our communities with services that meet their expectations but are also safe and clinically appropriate for women and their babies.”
The consultation may include small group conversations, one-on-one meetings, or online surveys.
“We realise that the people we would like to hear from either have a newborn, small children, or they are busy getting ready to welcome a new family member,” Ms Pannach said.
“So, our first step is to get contact details for people who would like to share and then we can work out individually the best way to hear their story.”
