  • Interpreters are provided on-site (face-to-face), via video conference or over the phone. Interpreters are available 24-hours a day, seven days a week and if required are provided at no charge to you.

  • The Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme (PTSS) provides financial assistance to eligible patients who are required to travel for specialist health services not available locally.

    The scheme assists with travel and accommodation costs only.

    PTSS documentation should be completed through your local hospital.

  • An Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Liaison Service is available at Toowoomba Hospital. Nursing staff can arrange access to this service during your time in hospital.

  • The Pastoral Care team offers 24 hour / 7 day service providing spiritual and emotional support.

    A minister of you faith can be requested by asking nursing staff or by contacting the Pastoral Care Team.

  • The Guiding Star volunteers provide assistance in finding your way around Toowoomba Hospital.

    The Guiding Stars are located in the main foyer, Emma Webb Building (Level 2)

  • Should you have any unresolved issues during your stay, or wish to provide feedback of any kind, the Consumer Liaison Team can be contact on (07) 4616 6152.

    Brochures and feedback boxes are located throughout the hospital.
