Medical interns

You’ll need to complete an internship before becoming generally registered with the Medical Board of Australia.

Your internship is a key part of transitioning from medical school to practicing independently.

You’ll be supported by senior colleagues during your year of practical training, giving you the opportunity to expand your clinical knowledge and skills.
