Safe, secure and supportive workplaces
We’re committed to providing safe, secure and supportive workplaces that are free from workplace harassment, sexual harassment and discrimination. Support and counselling
Our staff have access to free support and counselling services including:
- Benestar for staff in the Cairns and Hinterland, Metro North and Metro South areas
- Lifeworks for staff in the Central Queensland, Darling Downs, Metro South and Sunshine Coast areas
- Converge International for staff in the Gold Coast and Wide Bay areas.
OPTUM provides free support and counselling services for staff in the following areas:
- Central West
- Children's Health Queensland
- Mackay
- North West
- South West
- Torres and Cape
- Townsville
- West Moreton.
Our Queensland Ambulance staff can contact Priority One for support.
All services are free and open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
