Orthoptists specialise in assessment, diagnosis and non-surgical management of eye disorders.

Our orthoptists work closely with ophthalmologists to care for both adults and children with eye conditions, such as:

  • cataracts
  • glaucoma
  • diabetic eye disease
  • age related macular degeneration
  • strabismus (squint)
  • amblyopia (lazy eye)
  • double vision
  • systemic or neurological vision disorders.
