Intern application portal

The online portal is the only method of applying for an intern position with Queensland Health. Written applications will not be accepted. Applications will only be accepted during the campaign dates.

The Application guide (PDF 837 kB) provides detailed information on the intern recruitment campaign from an overview of how the campaign works to contracting and onboarding. Before commencing an application, review this guide and complete the documentation checklist, this will help you prepare the information and supporting documentation for your application.

As outlined in the Application guide (PDF 837 kB), you can log into the portal and make amendments to some details at different stages of the campaign. Throughout the campaign you will always be able to update your contact details; they need to be current and accurate in case you need to be contacted about your application.

Help using the application portal

The application portal user manual (PDF 1227 kB) provides step-by-step instructions on completing an application through the online portal, including:

  • registration and passwords
  • application, preferences, positions status report and submission process
  • referees
  • reviewing, editing and amending your application details
  • printing a copy of your application
  • accessing your existing application
  • accepting an offer
  • changing your preferences.

Previous applicants

If you applied through the intern campaign last year you do not need to register again. Use your login details from last year to start your new application.
