Visiting Medical Officers
This information is for medical professionals interested in working with us as a visiting medical officer.
As a visiting medical officer (VMO), you’ll enhance our full-time medical specialist services by providing speciality input in a number of disciplines.
You’ll have the opportunity to work throughout Queensland in advanced specialities at major metropolitan and regional hospitals. As a VMO, you’ll be a key and valued member of our team and integral to the achievement of strategic priorities.

How we engage VMOs
We engage VMO on individual employment contracts. Read the following to find out more:
