Radiation safety training

Before operating an x-ray system in Queensland, you may need to attend an approved radiation safety training course. Biomedical Technology Services offers a range of radiation safety training courses, developed by qualified experts, to meet these needs.

Radiation safety for orthopaedic registrars

This course is designed for orthopaedic surgeons, registrars and principal house officers. The program consists of:

  • attendance at a 6-hour course consisting of theory and practical sessions
  • formal assessment (50 question, true/false exam).
