Subsidy funding for medical aids and equipment is available to eligible Queenslanders with permanent/stable conditions or disabilities. Aids and equipment are subsidy funded either on a permanent loan basis, private ownership or through the supply of consumables.
MASS will be closed over the Christmas period from COB Friday 23 December 2016 until Monday 2 January 2017. MASS will reopen on Tuesday 3 January 2017.

MASS and the NDIS
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a new way of providing supports for people with disability to live in the community and take part in everyday activities. For eligible participants, this will mean changes to the way they currently access supports from schemes such as the Medical Aids Subsidy Scheme (MASS). Find out more.

In the interest of client safety, MASS has obtained endorsement statements from wheelchair manufacturers stipulating which power assist devices they endorse for use on their wheelchairs. The provided endorsement information has been summarised in the Power Assist Matrix.
