Our teams at Metro North Health work side-by-side every day to care for patients, but for tonight, Tracy and Phil will be on opposing teams as QLD and NSW clash in the first Men's State of Origin Game for 2025🏉

💪 Often referred to as "Australian sport's greatest rivalry," the State of Origin Series pits mate against mate, and state against state. Game One of the men's series is set to kick off at 8:05pm this evening here in Cane toad country.

Phil from the Fire Safety Advisory Unit at TPCH was asked about his team's chances this year.

"Bleed Blue, New South Wales by three!"

Staunch Queensland supporter Tracy, representing the finance department at RBWH, had a different opinion.

"I know the maths," she said, "nothing else to say but QUEENSLANDER!"

🪳🐸 Regardless of the outcome at the game tonight, there will be maroon and blue chants throughout the streets as we celebrate this great rivalry.
