Staff and residents at residential aged care facility Gannet House were invited to the grand opening of the in-house cinema last week. 🎥

It provided an opportunity for patient support officer Michael, and resident movie buff Elsje to dress up in a Bollywood-inspired costume to mark the occasion.

Elsje was thrilled after being picked to officially open the cinema, which will serve as a space for families to have special gatherings and build lasting memories in.

"I can't wait to experience the cinematic sound and lighting experience when I watch my favourite movie ‘Singin’ in the Rain", Elsje said. ☔

“I love the movies. I have been collecting movies for over 40 years now and have a broad range of films covering many genres. I have collected over 500 movie titles so far.”
