End your unhealthy relationships
The End your unhealthy relationships campaign is an extension of the overall Healthier. Happier. social marketing activity, designed to make younger Queenslanders aware that even though they are a healthy weight, their unhealthy behaviours put them at risk of being overweight or obese in the future.
Overweight and obesity are major public health issues in Queensland. Currently 64% of Queensland adults are overweight or obese, and about 33% don’t even realise it.
The overarching goal of all Healthier. Happier. social marketing activities is to improve the health of Queenslanders by motivating them to adopt healthier lifestyle choices in their day-to-day life.
The End your unhealthy relationships campaign is designed to make younger Queenslanders aware that even though they are a healthy weight, their unhealthy behaviours put them at risk of being overweight or obese in the future.The campaign encourages people to break up with the unhealthy relationships they have around eating and physical inactivity, and see how good they can feel.
The campaign will be seen across cinema, out of home, digital and social media from November 2018 until May 2019.
Queensland males, aged 18-34 who are currently a healthy weight, but at risk of being overweight or obese in the future.
