Queensland has one new case of coronavirus (COVID-19) to report today, bringing the state’s total cases to 1,150.

The new case is a returned traveller from overseas, in hotel quarantine in the Metro North area. There is no risk to the community.

Queensland currently has 31 active COVID-19 cases. In the past 24 hours, 4933 tests were performed.

The most up-to-date reliable information is available on the Queensland Health website at www.health.qld.gov.au/coronavirus.

It is vital that anyone in Queensland, especially if you’ve been interstate in the last 14 days, gets a COVID-19 test if you develop symptoms, even if mild. Symptoms may include fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste, and fatigue.

There are testing facilities right across the state including GPs, fever clinics and pop up clinics. To find your nearest location, visit www.qld.gov.au/covid19testing.
