The Chief Health Officer will no longer declare Tasmania as a hotspot as of 1:00am Tuesday 19 October 2021.

This means Queenslanders will be able to travel from Tasmania into Queensland, without needing to quarantine after 1.00am tomorrow.

This also means, anyone currently in quarantine that arrived from Tasmania after it was declared a hotspot, will be able to leave quarantine.

It is very important, that every Queenslander continues to monitor for COVID-19 symptoms and gets tested if you have any symptoms, no matter how mild.
