Daniel Frances is an Epidemiologist at Metro North Hospital. He has been working with Queensland Health for 12 years and currently manages the health surveillance team.
The Health Surveillance Team is responsible for the collection, analysis and interpretation of health-related data needed for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of public health practice.
The thing I like the most about my job is the opportunity to work with other team members in the public health unit. I work really closely with environmental health officers, public health physicians and nurses. I think we do a great job together to help protect the community.
Thank you to Daniel and his team for all their hard work keeping Queenslanders safe during the coronavirus pandemic.
