5 March 2020 Queensland coronavirus update
Two new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed in Queensland. The first case is an 81-year-old male who is in a stable condition in the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. He has recently returned from Thailand. The second case is a 29-year-old female from Brisbane who is now well and is isolated. She has recently travelled from London to Brisbane, with a short stopover in Singapore.

A 26-year-old male from Logan is currently in isolation in Princess Alexandra Hospital after testing positive for novel coronavirus (COVID-19.) The man who has recently returned from Iran remains in a stable condition.

Queensland Health has issued a coronavirus (COVID-19) contact tracing alert after a 63-year-old woman returned from Iran and was on the Gold Coast while potentially infectious. The woman is currently in isolation at Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

A 57 year old woman was admitted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital Monday 24 February 2020 with a confirmed case of novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The woman is isolated and is in a stable condition.

We are pleased to confirm that all novel coronavirus (COVID-19) patients at the Gold Coast University Hospital have been discharged. All five patients have now been clinically cleared by their treating team and were 100 per cent fit to leave the hospital.

20 February 2020 Queensland coronavirus update
Queensland Health is pleased to report that the first of the state's confirmed novel coronavirus (COVID-19) patients has left hospital, having recovered. An 8-year-old-boy, a Chinese national from Wuhan who was confirmed to have novel coronavirus in early February, left hospital with his family last night (Wednesday).
