Child health - contagious conditions

This section of the Act aims to protect children by reducing the spread of certain contagious conditions in schools and child care services. It provides clear direction about attendance at school or child care for children suspected of having a prescribed contagious condition. The new law also provides direction about unvaccinated children who have had contact with another child with a prescribed vaccine preventable condition.
