Mental Health Professional Online Development (MHPOD)
What is MHPOD?
MHPOD is an online learning and professional development resource for people working in mental health. It is also useful for practitioners from other areas working with those experiencing a mental illness or mental health problem.
Based on National Practice Standards for the Mental Health Workforce (2013), it draws on evidence based practice for mental health care to support the mental health workforce in their higher learning requirements, knowledge base and information needs.
Currently providing access to 68 topics, research and development of new topics is ongoing. Whether working in child and youth, adult or older person areas there are topics relevant to all mental health clinicians.
