Alcohol and Drug Information Service (ADIS)

The Alcohol and Drug Information Service (ADIS) is a Queensland state-wide service.

ADIS provides a free 24 hour/7 day telephone  counselling, information and referral service for anyone with concerns about their own or someone else’s use of alcohol or other drugs. ADIS provides an anonymous service.

The service provides:

  • an opportunity to discuss your own situation and concerns with someone who understands and can help
  • information about alcohol and other drugs including written resources
  • options and referral to appropriate treatment services or further assistance
  • opportunity to discuss your own situation and concerns with someone who understands and can help
  • consultancy service for health and related professionals.
