Not sure of the difference between a physiotherapist and an exercise physiologist? Think occupational Therapy is a form of career counselling? The so-called ‘allied health professionals’ are a mystery to many – but at Redcliffe & Caboolture-Kilcoy Hospitals they play a vital role in optimising the day-to-day quality of life, degree of independence and  deliver positive health outcomes for our patients.

Our allied health services encompass physiotherapy, occupational therapy, social work, psychology, speech pathology and dietetics. All are highly trained professionals providing services across Redcliffe and Caboolture-Kilcoy within emergency departments, acute, sub-acute, maternity, palliative care and outpatient’s services.

We have a strong commitment to research and quality improvement, in order to provide high quality care to our patients, with research officers available to our staff.  We have strong university partnerships and a strong commitment to ongoing education and professional development. A workforce development officer is available to provide information and support  on educational opportunities.

Redcliffe & Caboolture-Kilcoy Hospitals continually conducts a variety of staff based events, which include a number of staff awards that recognise achievements and service excellence.
